Richard Burbridge has photographed so many beauty shoots within his career that I have picked out a few recent images that show his eye for detail. It is this precision within the imagery that I want to look at. Everything within the frame seems absolutely stunning and perfect, from the form of the facial features to the texture of the make-up. In looking at beauty photographers I knew it would b vital to my own understanding of the genre to look at his work because of this meticulous focus on the details.
The lighting of his work helps to draw the viewers eye onto the subject of the image, for example in the images of lips, the lighting seems to embellish the decorated lips. His use of cropping around the features is also a definite aspect to beauty photography and I think that Richard Burbridge's use of this is beautiful and helps to frame the image.
