I chose to look at the work of Donna Trope as she is a prolific beauty photographer and her images are constantly being used within add campaigns. Almost all of her beauty work centers around the face and facial features. The skin features almost as atexture within her photographs, and it is this aspect that I am interested in within my own project. Her use of lighting varies from each photographic set, but still has similar qualities. Thorpe tends to use lighting to accentuate the form she is trying to address, for example the lips, hair or eyes.
